LAWL performs reasonable verification of professionals by collecting documents and information including:

• Valid government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving Licence)
• Bar Enrolment Certificate with enrolment number and State Bar Council details (for Advocates)
• ICAI Membership Certificate and Certificate of Practice (for Chartered Accountants)
• ICSI Membership Certificate and Certificate of Practice (for Company Secretaries)
• Active mobile number and email address
• Bank account details for fee remittance (processed via LAWL's payment partner under applicable KYC norms)

LAWL verifies professional credentials against publicly available regulatory records (Bar Council, ICAI, ICSI databases). However, LAWL does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or continued validity of such credentials or those third-party databases beyond the verification process.

Users are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information to professionals
• Uploading lawful and authentic documents
• Using the platform in compliance with applicable laws

LAWL is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by users.

LAWL makes reasonable efforts to maintain uninterrupted access to the platform.

However, the platform may experience downtime due to:

• Technical maintenance
• Internet failures
• System upgrades
• Cybersecurity incidents

LAWL does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform.

This disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising in connection with the platform shall be subject to good-faith negotiations in the first instance. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator mutually appointed, with the seat of arbitration at Mumbai, Maharashtra, conducted in English.

Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters not subject to arbitration.
